At the end of June 2016, two key events took place that added PTSD as an approved condition for medical marijuana in Illinois. An administrative law judge in Cook County ordered the Illinois Department of Public Health to add Post Traumatic Stress Disorder to the list of qualifying conditions. In addition, roughly one week later, Governor Rauner signed SB 10 which also adds PTSD as a qualifying condition.
